How to get from Reus to Lloret de Mar

I'm afraid there are no direct pubic transport links by bus or train from Reus Airport to Lloret de Mar. You have to go via Barcelona (train is the quickest option) and details of costs and timetables can be found at www.renfe.es or at www.alsa.es for buses. From Barcelona the best option is then to hire a car via http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/barcelona-car-hire.html or arrange a private transfer on http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/barcelona-airport-transfers.html This should reduce your costs because you have at least managed to do part of the journey by public transport.

Hi Gary,
I am travelling to Reus on Fri 22nd June (from London Luton) with a friend and need to get to LLoret de Mar when i arrive.
I have looked at some possibilities (mainly private hire/ taxi) and the prices are ridiculous, please could you let me know if there is another alternative,
